Emma and Abbey went to the Christmas party at the Barley Mow Ward End Birmingham UK
organised by Pauline Brown the landlady. Who also does a lot for childrens charities.   The pub is licencesd for children and all he regulars are friendly and make you feel welcome. Theres a pool table and dartboard and they have function rooms and a auction twice a week. This year Emma and Abbey went to the party it cost £2.00 per for that they got party food a disco and presents worth far more than £2. Over £10 for the gifts. I'd like to say thank you to Pauline and everyone who made the party great for the children and spent so much time and money on it.
The girls enjoyed themselves and we all saw Santa.

Ray getting ready to shoot
Once a month the Barley Mow has a country and western night.
They have their own band the Road house boys.
The band members are Kevin, Derek, John, Sue, Tracey and Frank.
They are fun and they are very good we go and hear them rehearse on the evenings and Sunday. We have become friends with them and for Abbeys birthday they brought her a gift but for Christmas they have brought Abbey a pink electric guitar a big THANK YOU to all the band.

On the country and western night they had a shoot out then the second one my son's Steve and Ray had a go and enjoyed it we are looking forward to the next one in January 2009.
